Well, Ted is said to be 12 years old. In the dream sequence of Audrey’s birthday she blows out 15 candles. So there really isn’t THAT big an age gap between them it just looks more distinct since Audrey, like a lot of young girls, tend to mature physically faster than boys are. Once Ted hits his growth spurt he should be a decent height so the age difference isn’t as glaring as it stands at the moment.
